Tom, trying to come to terms with the idea of bloodworm tartare. No wonder he doesn’t leave the conn.

Tom is confounded in Cathexis.
State of Flux. My belief that Tom has legs is in flux because he’s stuck at the helm again. At least he still has that second gold pip to console himself about never being allowed off the bridge.
Tom enjoys Harry’s pain and being blurry as he almost fades into the background in this episode. He also enjoys irony (”but it’s not above board.”) and telling B’Elanna that he’s heading to bed (eyebrow waggle).
There’s not a lot of Tom in Emanations, which is odd because his best (and only) friend has disappeared. His butt is pinned to the conn, and most of the time he’s blurry, which makes sense because Harry is the focus of this episode. (Hahaha. I crack myself up!)
