Hear me out, Ochako is terrified of accidentally making something float in her sleep, and Tomura absolutely does NOT trust himself enough to risk touching her skin unconsciously at 3AM.
So they end up developing this weird domestic routine where:
- gloves before bed.
- checking each other’s hands half-asleep
-sleepy “did you put yours on?” conversations
-and occasionally waking up tangled together realizing one glove came off somewhere during the night
It sounds tragic at first until you realize they’re actually insanely comfortable around each other. Because imagine how intimate it is for THEM specifically: trusting someone enough to sleep beside them despite both quirks being dangerous through touch.
