Could you maybe write Nymphadora Tonks period comfort (comfort for reader) please? And maybe make the reader chubby if that’s okay! It’s okay if not since she’s not one of the main characters. 💙💙💙 Thank you!

— Hey Anon! I was very happy to get this request so thank you!! I assumed the reader and Tonks were romantically involved, though I apologise if that's not what you intended. I also don't know the fandom hcs or anything for her so yall are getting a character scrapped out of faint memories and brief research.
this was a request made by an anon.
An ache ran through your lower stomach, and you found yourself twisting yet again on the couch. You curled around your hot water bottle, almost forming a protective coil around it. Frustration seized you as you pushed it further into your belly, only to realise it had run much too cold for it to be any substantial help.
You only pushed in on yourself harder, hoping the pressure would be enough to subside your pain.
Periods weren't supposed to hurt this bad, you thought, frowning.
Behind you, the front door creaked loudly—you had the passing thought that if a robber managed to time their heist for when you felt like dying, they deserved to get away with the kill.
"Hey! I brought dinner!" Your girlfriend called out from the front door. Despite yourself, you turned around, finding her shucking off her boots. Her hair sat short as ever, though it was a "sensible brown," as she called it. It was a colour she'd taken to wearing out more often after the war. "Thought you wouldn't feel like cooking—you seemed out of it this morning."
As she spoke, bubblegum pink sprouted from her roots until she sported a vibrant head of hair. "And frankly, I'm going to burn down the kitchen if I cook while I'm so—" A plastic takeout bag swung around in her hand as she spun around, leading herself into the living room.
You pursed your lips, murmuring. "Hey, Dora."
She paused, mouth still a tad open, before frowning, "Oh, well, that doesn't look so fun." She tilted her head, taking in your position and the faint sadness that topped it off. "Bad day?"
You hummed in response, adjusting yourself to sit as she approached. "Not great."
"I think I have a spare pepper-up," she mumbled, already parsing through the bag on her hip. "You already take painkillers?"
“An hour ago.” You pouted, slumping back. “Hasn’t really worked.”
She nodded before moving to sit, a vial of pepper-up potion in hand. “Might have to wait a little while then. Don’t want to mix medicine.” There was a muscle memory in her movements as she lifted your legs and slid into the space they occupied. “When I was at Hogwarts, our potions professor—" you grinned at the formality of calling wizard teachers ‘professors.’ “—Snape always made it clear how much of a disaster that could be.”
You gave her a soft smile. "He sounds nice."
"That couldn't be farther from the truth." She grinned in response, "A brave hero and a great prof, but Merlin, that man was a prick." Her emphasis pulled a soft chuckle out of you— Dora always had quite the way with words.
She leaned in, hand trailing up your soft thighs to where the hot water bottle sat on your stomach. "Surely, that is not helping you." She raised an eyebrow, her voice teasing.
"I don't want to refill it. It's always too hot at first, and then it goes cold really quick." You scoffed lightly, picking up the soft bottle. "I don't see the point."
She sensed your frustration, if her empathetic expression was anything to go by. "Here," Taking the water bottle, she dropped it onto the floor next to the couch. "Let me help, yeah?"
Her hands moved once again, finding rest right beneath your abdomen. You squirmed just a bit under her cold touch. "Remember when Teddy had those really bad migraines? Back when he was starting to learn how to use his metamorphmagus abilities?"
You nodded softly, reminded of her son when he was a couple of years younger and only just getting used to your presence in his life.
You remembered finding out about his migraines for the first time. You didn't know what to do. You'd found the boy in a pale, sweaty coil. He laid tight in bed, clearly distraught. It had been terrifying, though it had also been one of the first times Teddy had trusted you for comfort. Distantly, you remember the feeling of him clinging to you that night.
"Well, we found that heat helped—" Her hands felt irregularly warm, "—something about blood flow or muscle tensions, I dunno." She shrugged. "And well, we didn't have any heating stuff lying around."
"Tell me when it gets hot enough?" She asked, her voice gentle. "So I'd done some quick research into, y'know, biology and all that stuff that I'm bloody grateful I didn't have to learn past primary school."
One of her hands seized the plush of your stomach playfully, and you swatted at it. At the motion, she smirked, letting her hand lie flat again. "Turns out, I can generate concentrated heat in part of my body."
Eventually, her hands reached a comfortable, helpful warmth. "You can leave it there." You told her softly, "Thanks, Dora."
"Don't even mention it." Her eyes crinkled at the edges. "Pass me the re—" She halted, her eyes flicking to the telly and then her hands. "Actually, can you turn something on?"
"Sure, but I'm not watching another reality show." You stuck your tongue out, ignoring her pout as you began to flick through the channels. You settled on an older movie before relaxing back. You watched as Dora's attention shifted and let the comfort of her presence soak over you. You sighed contentedly—God, this was perfect.

— No one ask me the science- I don't know. Shhhhhh.
— Moving on... I don't know how I feel about this piece but I really do hope that yall like it. It had me a little stumped cause of the character but I think I got it. Hopefully, I didn't get any small details wrong. Ofc, I had to take a few creative liberties and I made up the Teddy stuff but it all should work fine.
— Also, this is slightly rushed, since I'm travelling soon so it is not proofread and I'm really just praying its coherent.
