Singing Voice Headcannons for Tyreen Calypso + bonus

I know, this is a bit of a stretch. Tyreens voice is loud, and kinda Tom-boyish (que Tyreens opening line: “What’s up bitches!”)

But with a loud side comes a soft and I just loved the idea of her sounding like this.

And if you listen to the lyrics, it actually fits her character a tiny bit. Kind of. I have a habit of sympathizing with villains.

“I don’t plan on slowing down—no, I’ll keep on going even if you think I’m in the wrong.”

These are the lyrics that stuck out the most for me. They fit her perfectly and I like the thought of her having some big backstory. I mean, her saying “The Vaults are their birthright.” And how their symbol is the opposite of the usual Vault Sign. Sure, what they’re doing is extremely wrong on sooo many levels, but maybe it’s not their fault. Handsome Jack claimed he was only trying to do right (in a twisted way, just like we see with the twins.) So, who knows for sure.

But for now, I really like the idea that they’re actually trying to do good (in a questioning way.) Fame can do a lot to a person, especially fear. And when you finally get praise, it’s a huge change in what you’re used to. So there’s her wanting to keep the praise going, her feeling good in herself, and those who are getting in the way of her objectives.

I don’t know, it just seems like a lot going on there.

Or none of this is true and she’s just very vain with a God Complex.
