Happy birthday to Ralph Spina. He had limited screen time in the show but he's one of my favorites because of his real life exploits. He was one of the medics involved in the incident in which Herbert Sobel had a fake appendectomy performed upon him after the medics had had enough. He was also involved in smuggling condoms in Switzerland. After the war he moved from Philadelphia to Texas. His post war occupation was as the weight man in the carnival. He would guess peoples weights on the midway. He passed away at the age of 87. He was played by Tony Devlin
