The interviews conducted by CBC Radio broadcaster Tony Thomas are legendary. 

The Canadian personality lived in Hollywood where he conducted longform interviews with Jack Benny, George Burns, Bing Crosby, Jimmy Durante, and many other important figures of vintage showbiz.  His programs aired and re-aired on CBC for several decades.

I've been rewatching the Beauty and the Beast 80s tv series and just found out that one of the producers was Marlo's brother, Tony.

I love fun coincidences like this.
