I think something worse than being replaced is looking at someone you loved and seeing someone completely different
I think one of my fears is becoming a shell of the person I once was and having no one notice as I slip away,to far to come back,to far before anything can be done.
Cuz that's what I'm worth.
Not even an answer.
Misinterpretation
I don't think I've ever completely understood what it means to "be grateful." For example, when your mom tells you to eat your food because there are starving kids in Africa, it doesn't make you hungry, you just feel bad. It IS good.. like it gives good perspective and keeps you from being a high maintenance, self entitled jerk. But I think that I, personally have taken it a little bit the wrong way. Feeling bad about the fact that you have water doesn't help anyone who is thirsty. Feeling bad for fat people doesn't help them, and it just makes you feel bad about your own health. This is counterproductive. Don't force yourself to be grateful. Being grateful doesn't have limits. If you look in the mirror and appreciate that youre pretty, be grateful for it. Let yourself feel good. Be "vain" for a minute and be like "yes, i am so attractive, I'm fucking awesome, hell ya go me." People say be grateful and I drink some water and then I'm like "some people don't have clean water, I need to be so excited for this water right now." But i'm not thirsty, I have water and I don't feel ecstatic over it. I shouldn't go drink 15 glasses of water because I have it. I'll die. Thats dumb, don't do that. Another example...I really like horses. If someone has an amazing, beautiful, fancy horse I'm never like.. "that asshole, they are awful for having that thing." Im usually like.."wow I'm jealous I want to be them, If I had that horse i'd ride it every day and love every second."
So Be Yourself, Feel what you feel, appreciate what you appreciate. DWELL in the things that make you feel happy and good. Thats how you be grateful. The happier you are, The happier you'll make other people. If you have a nice horse and appreciate it, don't think about someone else who doesn't, just ride your horse, love it, enjoy it and let that thing you love make you happy.
This was longer than I meant it to be, but I've been thinking about this with the holidays.
Fireworks...
…they all got together…& celebrated being off for half a day to in order to “celebrate" their right to work & be taxed.
Something I always think about.
Why is money so important? It's literally a piece of damn paper. Can you imagine a world without money? Just doing things without it. Going into a store and getting whatever you need without paying for it. Money has taken advantage of the world. You don't need money to build things. Sure you need supplies, but if everything was free, you can go somewhere to get certain things and build a huge house. Without money. Like why is money needed to make the world spin?
