So, since my inner graphic designer needs the comfort of straight lines & cohesive composition, but my inner business woman needs speed- my inner engineer had to find a way to execute. . Since cowhide is skin, I’ve been thinking on a quick transfer method based on tattoo artists methods that lets me design pieces in my downtime using design programs, and gets me my straight lines & original designs, fast. And I am so friggin’ pleased! . This is probably sacrilege to classic leather workers. But I am stoked! I can & do still freehand, but I cannot tell you how satisfying it is to draw my designs using a skill that I love, and apply it to a completely different medium. Which I REALLY love. Aaaah.
