Always Something Missing || Aurora & Phillip
"Well, I'm sure we'll find it somewhere."
Phillip smiled, hoping that sounded more encouraging than it felt. In all honesty, Phillip was the worst at finding things--catching a snitch was one thing, but finding text books and sneaky cats were completely different. Regardless, he had to help Aurora. Or so he felt. Something drew him to Aurora, but then again, it wasn't much different from the way he was drawn to other girls. And having been reminded that she was indeed his teammate's ex, Phillip felt the bro code weighing heavily on his conscience. He felt it was right by Laurence to remain distant to Aurora; however, it did not weigh so heavily that he felt compelled to keep his distance.
When he surfaced from his thoughts, it occurred to him that the two of them had been walking in silence. In attempt to remedy it, Phillip cleared his throat, smiling a little sheepishly and turning to Aurora in hopes she wasn't offended.
"You know," he said suddenly, "we really have to stop meeting this way. Losing things and finding them, I mean. Before you know it, we won't have anything left."
