Met him in a pub once in London. Top, top bloke. Most outside of the UK might not know him, but he was hilarious. A national treasure. Rest easy. What a shame. 😭😭😭

Ken Dodd has died at the age of 90.

I saw him twice, first in the 1960′s and then in the 2000′s. Some of the jokes were the same, but they were still funny the second time. His filmed appearances are a pale shadow of the hilarity of seeing him live.

I am not a sentimental man, but I was moved by the fact that he finally married his long-term partner, Anne, on Friday,  a few days before he died.
