First of all, thank you so much @amortentiaboys for the tag, you’ve literally made my day! I absolutely adore your ficlets! 2020 was a weird one, but still, I managed to find an amazing creative place through the incredible @drarrymicrofic, even with the language barrier, and it allowed me to produce some of my favorite writing ever! So, without any further ado, here is my top 5 2020 microfics/ficlets:
Touch
I wrote this one for the prompt candle. It came out very different from my usual writing style, and was very fun to mold into shape. I really love the slight fluffyness, and this was definitely my proudest moment.
Nice to see you
I’m still in love with this one. It’s on the longer side, and took me a long time to finish, but i’m really proud of it. It was my first try with real dialogue, and although I could have done better, it works really well. I absolutely adore Blaise Zabini, and would literally die for him. Pansy and Neville are a bonus!
Nostalgia
I absolutely HATED this one at first, but it grew on me like a rash, and now I love it so dearly that i’m expanding it into an actual fanfic with the help of a lovely friend of mine. I really took my time experimenting with this one, describing thing differently than I used to, and the final product came out angsty and funny.
Under the Mistletoe
This is a lovely domestic Drarry ficlet, it’s fluffy and sweet. I like the lightness of it, even though this is the shortest one i’ve ever written.
A point of no return
AAAAAAAAA THIS ONE!!! It’s kinda spicy, kinda provocative and SO ANGSTY! Angsty Draco is my favorite Draco!! Writing this made me blush BAD and honestly, reading it makes me blush too. I love it anyways.
