Small problem...I've actually been given several versions of this prompt. "Top", "Hyperfixations", "please come live-react to these series in my DM’s!” and "never get tired of hearing/talking about"....and ALL of those are different lists.
And let's be honest...no one is going to be surprised if I mention that I really really like my holy trinity of Japanese BLs - My Personal Weatherman, My Beautiful Man, and Keita Hatsukoi.
No one is going to be surprised if I name ones from my "essentials" list or staples like Not Me, ITSAY, Semantic Error, UWMA, Unknown etc.
No one is going to be surprised that I want EVERY reaction to Desire or Revenged Love.
And while I don't really aim "to surprise"....I do aim "to not bore". So I'm going with....shows that I love and would absolutely love to gush for hours with someone about in my DMs, but that I haven't talked about a ton on the blog.

What do you get when you add a very sexy fuckboi + end of the world shenanigans + weird, eerie vibes + lots and lots of unanswered questions ? Me thinking about this show WAY more than I should.
Cherry Blossoms After Winter
I do enjoy this show. But I will now forever associate this show with me talking with @watchthisqqq about height differences, and my response of something like "It's not really that much...only like 6 inches (15 cm)." Realizing shortly thereafter that IS a lot to most other people 🤣. In my defense, my 13 year old is 8 inches (20+cm) taller than me. I don't even clock most BL "height differences".
History 4: Close to You
Look...I know. I know. But we can have a grand time talking over problematic tropes and whether I can in good conscious recommend this to anyone ever or not. I still love Teng Mu Ren and Xiao Li Cheng. And while our stepbrothers are problematic at BEST...they whisper. K. I'm gonna stop now.
Color Rush
I've mentioned this one before. Do I wish we had been able to explore this universe more deeply? 100% We can do that together by talking all about the colors and the philosophies of what drives obsession and criminality. All of the deeper meanings of "being other" and what hiding that can do to your psyche and soul. The pure joy of finding someone that lets you see the world in a different way....you see where I'm headed? Yeah, there's a lot of good bones here.
Every You, Every Me
Look, I'm specifically talking about ep 5/6 - the Sian/Blue arc. Come talk sex positivity, innuendos, delicious style and well...yeah, I love this particular arc a whole, whole lot.
Knock, Knock Boys
This little group and all of their hangups and quirks endeared themselves to me greatly. I will happily talk about them any day.

Let's celebrate this pairing with the succulents. I love the depths. I love the comedy. The actors nailed this one.
