Athletics
Ok, here’s a small break of MiniCat and Poly!BBS since this IS a majority H2OVanoss blog, but there will be regiments of the great crew and their many, many ships anyway. So yeah ;D
Jonathan felt like signing up for football and joining half his squad. But then he thought about joining Craig and Brock in wrestling/rugby... Or maybe Soccer with Brian and Arlan{Droid :D}... Or he could play baseball....
He sighed, “Mom, Ii don’t know what sports to do this year.”
“We’ve got the money this year and the Fongs really want you to join Evan in football and hockey.”
“But you know I can’t skate worth the shit... We’ve been stuck in North Carolina before dad did his bullshit.”
His mom sighed but nodded, “Okay... Football?”
“I’m... I’m all skin and bones, i have no muscle, mom. I’ll be destroyed on the field.”
She shuddered and hesitated before looking over the sports paper.”You’re ankle isn’t well enough for it either, you could do swimming or wrestling or even tennis.”
Jonathan beamed at the mention of tennis and swimming, “Is there golf or bowling sports, mom?”
She shook her head, “Tennis and swimming like usual?”
“And Track.”
“Jonathan, honey, that’s how you broke your ankle. We’re not having another re-run of this.”
Jonathan sighed, one hand gripping his elbow of his other arm, “R-Right... But... tennis and swimming are... majority girls’ sports.”
His mom’s tone grew irritated and harsher, “Honey, don’t talk like that. To hell with those who call you gay. Even if you are, that doesn’t give them a reason to tease you for such silly labels.”
Jonathan flinched and nodded, shrinking back a bit as he glanced at his mom, “Same old sports every year I guess.”
“They need more variety. How about clubs, honey? What clubs do they have at this god forsake average high school?”
He let out a breath he’d know idea having held in and looked over the sheet of light neon green paper in his hands, “Gamer’s club. I’d like to join that one...”
“Done deal, how much is the entry and what is the requirements?”
“The requirements is having two or more game consoles at home and paying the entry fee of 20 dollars. Members must be responsible of taking care of rental game discs and being able to have enough anger management to handle future rage games and what not. Members will help achieve a goal of becoming possible game testers and designers in the future.”
She nodded, “Alright. Next one?”
“Student council, I want to try for that one this year mom. The entry fee is 10 bucks actually and the requirements is attending over 85% of the school year and having a G.P.A. of over 3.5″
His mom nodded again, “Sounds good to me. You’ve always been straights A’s and B’s.”
“There’s another one, mom. I think Evan’s attending this one too, much like the Gamer’s club. Lui might be in it as well, Maybe Tyler and David!”
“Get on with it, hun, what is it?”
“Upstander’s Club.”
“No hun, not this year. It’s never helped you with the bullies despite being it’s leading member. Absolutely not.”
Jonathan sighed but nodded anyway, “Art Club? The entry fee is 5 bucks and the requirements is 75% of the school year attended and a G.P.A. of 3.”
“Alright, any other clubs, Jon?”
Jonathan shook his head before casting his eyes over one last one, “Actually... This one. The entry fee is 15 bucks but it’s opened to everyone.”
“What is it hun?”
“It’s the poetry club.”
His mother seemed drawn back by his interest for poetry, “Shakespeare? You can’t even comprehend a chapter of a book yet, hun, I don’t think you can-”
“It’s writing poetry mom. You’ve seen me write a poem for you before.”
“Jonathan, it’s going to worst the cause of people calling you... gay.”
“What? No it won’t...”
“You aren’t doing any sports but Tennis and Swimming, you’re in the Gamer’s Club, student council, Poetry club, and the art club.”
“Yeah, I’m a normal boy with normal interests and a very frail body. It’s completely fine, mom.”
“Fine, but if you get bullied, you come to me or the guidance counselor automatically.”
He nodded solemnly, already knowing he’d run to his best friends instead. His friends who actually did sports and athletic things....
There’ll be a part two later on today~
I know what you did last summer...
ANGST-Y SHIT HERE, I AM SO SORRY :D NO I’M NOT
As Jonathan returned home from his parents for the summer, he noticed how different Evan acted towards him. He would yell as if stressed out, lash out in anger as though he’d always been this sensitive.
“E-Evan? I seriously didn’t mean to drop the plate okay?” Jonathan tried calming his lover before he could swipe him across the face.
“You always fuck up, Jonathan! Why do I love you if you’re so fucking clumsy?!”
This snapped him, he whimpered and tears gathered in his eyes. However, Evan flinched and held up his hands to comfort him, “I’m sorry Jonathan, please...”
“I can’t seem to hold you close anymore...”
Evan muttered a swear under his breath and Jonathan flew from the room to their bedroom upstairs. With a soft shuffle, Evan followed with some soda for his upset husband.
“Babe, I’m sorry. Please”
“What happened to you while I was gone?” Jonathan demanded, his face stuffed in a pillow in the shape of a teddy bear to block out his crying.
“I....”
Evan thought back to when Tyler had offered to keep him company. Craig didn’t know either....
Jonathan looked around their bedroom, grabbing something from the ground to pathetically whine about it, “This...”
Evan looked at the article of clothing, the hoodie Tyler had given him while it was raining out. “I-I... Ii can explain, Tyler was being friendly.”
Jonathan flinched, “Y-You...”
Evan’s eyes widened and before he could say anything, Jonathan jumped up and fled the room, slamming it shut behind him.
Evan truly upset him badly this time. The first three affairs were accidental.... This one wasn’t. Why did Jonathan keep him for so long...?
As he left the memorial room, he watched Jonathan pace in the room. “Jonathan, I didn’t mean for it to happen! I-It was-”
“Accidental? Like the first three hundred flings, you-” Jonathan froze up as Evan ran forward and connected their lips.
As they broke apart, Jonathan’s face fell apart and he whimpered in Evan’s jacket. “I know what you did last summer.... Just tell me.... Was it Tyler then too?”
Evan slowly nodded, “I can’t seem to let you go though... Please, Jonathan, I’ll stop..”
Jonathan looked up and sniffled, “Liar.”
Evan sighed and let go of him, stalking towards the door, “C-Call me... um... when you’re feeling better..”
“You’re going to stay with Tyler and Craig again?”
“I’m not going to talk about this until tomorrow.”
“It’s tearing me apart....” Jonathan mumbled as he watched his lover disappear out the door.
“I know, I know, I know, I know, I know... I can’t seem to keep you close.... Can’t seem to let you go...” Jonathan groaned, his hands covering his face desperately to scratch away the pain, “I know you didn’t mean it though....”
“Right?”
Prologue~
Jonathan would have never guessed he would have TWO visitors at his door; one knew him already but the other, oh the other was a fabulous Canasian man with a beautiful pair of eyes and that gorgeous floof of chocolate brown hair. Jonathan was melting inside.
“Hey Johnny boyyyy! The doorbells-a- ringin’!” His sister called lazily from her bedroom up the two flights of stairs.
“Fine. Fine.” Jonathan sighed, pulling his phone from his desk and checking the messages as he rolled his laptop off his lap and onto the covers of his bed.
He took half the second flood while the guest bedroom stole the other half. However, his sister, Marie, stole a quarter of the third floor while their parents took half and the master bathroom took a quarter.
Yes, a bathroom can be as large as a bedroom, okay? That’s why it’s a MASTER bathroom. A total of two toilets(in little stalls really), two showers, a deluxe sized bath tub(with it’s own cut off room), three sinks, and at least five separate shelves guiding between each vicinity. It was just that large.
Jonathan never considered himself rich. Especially in the school he went to. He was just lower middle class which made him a not-so-popular-rich-kid. In addition, he played and bought video games on a weekly, maybe daily, basis. Therefore, friends were quite minimal and Jonathan was thoroughly picky.
However, Luke was like a brother to Jonathan. Their family were connected by marriages and what not. However, the Patterson family had no female child to take Jonathan’s hand so Jonathan would need to find a similar middle class bride or groom.
Sexuality never mattered in the traditions of the Dennis family or the Patterson family, though they were required to have children, adopted or birthed. The first, oldest son of the Patterson’s 20th century child was Luke; tall, lean, buff, hits the gym and returns with a massive attractive grin on his delightfully masculine, tanned face.
Luke was engaged to Marie, ready to mingle when single after his previous out-of-tradition girlfriend. Therefore, the two were a perfect match according to their interests, their personalities, and their tradition!
However, the mother of Luke could no longer bear children. As a result, Jonathan was left brideless and groomless to the tradition, but loved just as much as Luke and Marie.
It had never crossed Jonathan’s mind to get married according to Middle Class traditions until Luke brought home this beautifully tanned Asian from Canada.
Jonathan could hear his mother now, fussing over his groom’s eyes and hair and his tan lines. His father would be jumping for joy that Jonathan had married correctly, ready for his future to adjust to his new life and such.
However, this man was already married. Celia Griffin, soon-to-be-bride of this handsome Asian named Evan. The girl only stayed in the house, lazy and boring, much like Marie except Marie went on dates with Luke and double dates to sports festivals and seasonal ticket shows.
Marie and Luke stuck together like glue, interested in sports and festivals and anything fun. Celia only stuck to Evan when she was getting money spent on herself alone.
Jonathan found this unfair, urging to talk to his parents of this beautiful man and his shameful soon-to-be-bride. Jonathan was even tempted to mention how he would be a much better bride than her...
-Celia is not in reference to any real person, neither is Marie. This is really ooc and I have no clue how these characters would talk + react, thus they are simply fiction in this story. <3
Speak My Love
The world was a bitter place, constant whispers along the hallways about his deaf boyfriend, the consistent chuckles at how mute the boy was. Evan already hated this school enough. First, his coming out as being gay was not taken greatly by his friends and thus, spread among the whole school grounds.
Thankfully though, Evan was almost out of this hell hole. But his boyfriend was unlucky. Though the two were the same age, Jonathan was a whole grade level below Evan from failing middle school.
They used hand signals to communicate, cuddles and kisses helping them adjust to their relationship and commitment with one another. Evan knows how Jonathan sounds, but it’s been over ten years since he’d last heard the boy speak. Did he speak at home?
His voice box must be more inaccurate and awkward because of how long ago he had spoken... This thought rained in on Evan’s mind whenever he and Jonathan were hugging, holding hands, cuddling and sharing body warmth, or pecking one another’s lips.
It was the constant phrase, ‘Has his voice changed since then?’
Until finally, one late evening on the last weeks of school, Jonathan and Evan both came out to their parents before heading to school. Their parents were fine with it, but they wondered how the two would survive the mute relationship.
“We’ve been a thing for a few months now... Maybe three years.” Evan softly smiled at his mother, who seemed just as shocked as his father.
“That long? Have you ever heard his voice?”
“Not since we first met and everyone made fun of his loud voice with laughter and pointing fingers, mom..”
“Maybe you should get him to try again. When you are alone together?”
“Can he stay the night tonight then?” Evan inquired his parents would be hesitant but they hopped to a yes right quick.
Jonathan grinned as he entered the room ,waving and hugging the Fongs. Evan smiled and gently pecked his cheek, signing to him that he would be staying the night over.
Jonathan’s grin grew wider and he nodded sheepishly, hugging the two parents once again with a more secure squeeze.
The two smiled at their own son before smiling at Jonathan, hugging him back in a welcoming manner. Evan grinned at his lover and they headed to the living room where Evan sat them both down for a small talk.
‘Hey.. When we stay in my room tonight, can I hear you speak?’
Jonathan frowned and pouted lightly, his bottom lip sticking out and his arms crossed over his lap as he hunched forward to lay his head in Evan’s lap. Evan gently petted his hair and smiled.
Jonathan sighed softly and rose back up, he glanced at Evan before signing, ‘You will laugh. It is not fun.’
‘I know your condition and so I know you will be loud. Please? My parents will leave tonight, I bet you sound beautiful.’
Jonathan sheepishly smiled at Evan, ‘I love you’.
Evan replied instantly, pecking Jonathan’s cheek as well, ‘I love you too.’
The two decided to play video games, Evan occasionally leading Jonathan to certain areas on his map by jumping with his character to gain his boyfriend’s attention.
But they realized how late it was once the door was heard being shut by Evan downstairs. He shut off the game system and stood up, grabbing Jonathan’s hand. He signed quickly, ‘I have to go lock the doors, hold on.’
Jonathan nodded and followed him quietly, a small smile played on his lips. After locking the doors, Evan sent a happy grin to Jonathan and signed, ‘Sleepover!’
Jonathan threw his hands up and then around Evan with a hug smile, nodding his head furiously in a childish mood. Evan took his hand in his and pecked his cheek. In his back pocket was an oddly shaped device...
‘Let’s go upstairs’ Evan smiled softly.
Jonathan knew it was coming, he would have to speak. He let out a soft sigh before following Evan up the stairs and grinning as a sudden dessert appeared in Evan’s hands.
‘I got your favorite food!’
‘Thank you so much!’
Evan grinned and handed it to his excited lover. ‘Ice cream will help clear out your throat as well. Enjoy it.’
Jonathan nodded and understood what Evan was doing. Preparations for talking after so long. He knew it would sound weird and he would be able to tell by watching Evan’s facial expressions.
Evan opened his bedroom door and stepped inside, Jonathan following and closing the door behind him. He placed the two’s school bags next to his computer desk and turned around to kneel on the bed.
‘I love you’ Jonathan signed, finishing another scoop of ice cream.
Evan signed it back and smiled, leaning forward after to peck his lips. ‘Yum. Strawberry.’
Jonathan stifled his laughter but let a giggle slip, slowly becoming more comfortable. Evan smiled and laid down, patting his chest so Jonathan could get the clue.
Without another second to waste, Jonathan flopped his cheek against Evan’s clothed chest with a fifth spoonful of ice cream traveling to his mouth.
Evan wrapped an arm around Jonathan’s shoulders. The two laid there for another few moments until Jonathan leaned up and put the empty ice cream bucket on the night stand.
Jonathan smiled at Evan, ‘Thank you. It was delicious!’
Evan nodded and leaned up, wrapping his arms around that slim waist and pressing his lips against Jonathan’s.
Jonathan responded immediately. He pulled away and opened his mouth, watching the surprise glow in Evan’s eyes. Evan was easy to read, goodie.
“I love you.” Was the first words Jonathan said out loud.
He didn’t regret them either because Evan’s face flashed joyful and surprised before he signed, ‘You sound absolutely beautiful!’
Jonathan smiled and nodded, “Thank you.”
Evan grinned and pulled Jonathan in for a hug, pecking his cheek with appreciation.
“I love you so much, Evay bear”
Dennis Traditions- Ch. 1
If you want to view the prologue, scroll through my recent posts before the lucky cat I re-posted. You’re bound to find {Prologue} in there. :) Btw, Sydney was replaced with Celia since I didn’t want any confusion. The Sydney of the previous story only held the first name of a real person but was NOTHING like that person, I assure you. :)))
Luke introduced Jonathan to that handsome Asian with such a smirk sent towards Jonathan that he felt his spine shiver at the thought process Luke was just inching him towards. “This is my younger friend, a close brother-like figure to me, Jonathan Dennis. I’m sure you’ve heard of the Dennis Traditions? The whole state goes after those traditions as laws and guidelines after all.”
Jonathan felt his face redden as the male smiled, “I’m Evan, pleasure to be of acquaintance.” Jonathan’s blush grew even more as Evan doubled over to properly peck Jonathan’s hand.
“T-The pleasure’s all mine.” Jonathan could hear his heart beat faster, swallowing nervously as Luke winked at him.
“No really, I must insist a delightful dinner at my house tonight. Me and my fiancee would love to cook you a meal for helping our engagement.”
Luke chuckled as Jonathan’s smile fell but quickly came back, “Oh but I must decline, I could never. Please, I’ll be alright with a simple greeting.”
Luke felt himself drop in joy as he noticed the sadness echoing in Jonathan’s eyes. He quickly hopped in before Evan could take notice, “Let’s go do our project, second in hand Fong!”
Jonathan felt his eyes droop even more that he’d lost a chance to be with such second handed power. “Mhm... Yes. I’ll catch you two later.” Jonathan flashed a quick smile and turned away to hide his frown as he headed through the back door.
His mother seemed to be displeased with this outcome, huffing and pouting that her son had lost such a grand chance to be combined with an upper middle class, almost lower high class.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next day brought depression to Jonathan as he thought back to that gorgeous tanned face and those muscular abs hidden under that tank top with the loose red jacket slung over top.
Luke tried many times to get his best friend from his chambers but to no avail, he stayed inside. As Evan had arrived to work on the project, he came with great news. “Milady and I are to be married officially tomorrow evening and you all are invited!”
Jonathan was eating breakfast at the table at the time. He felt even sadder than he’d ever been before. Why was he so hasty to be married now? Was this what it felt like to be in love at first sight? He had no idea if Evan would leave him in the end anyway. He thought to himself, Give up and forever hold your peace.... break the traditions...
With great dismay, Jonathan trudged out the door to his early study hall group, hoping to distract himself. However.... Evan tagged along.
“What do you like to do, Dennis?”
“I um... I love playing games.” Jonathan smiled at his new friend.
“Oh... You’re a gamer nerd?” Evan seemed disinterested suddenly, as if trying to keep an appearance in front of the oncoming gaggle of girls.
Celia was among them. “Evyyyy! Baby, hey!”
Evan smiled suddenly, “Aw, Celia, my darling.”
Celia leaned up, wrapping her arms around his neck and pecking his cheek. She spread the two apart, walking between Jonathan and Evan. Jonathan swallowed the lump in his throat and walked faster, not knowing Evan followed him with his eyes but thinking Evan did not want his company as he did not call him back...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
From then on, Celia was always with Evan. From between classes, to lunch tables, to free period, even in the hallways. Now, each time Evan came over for dinner with the Dennis family as promised, Celia was there as his wife.
Jonathan spent more and more time hiding in his room thinking only at how unloved he could ever be playing these wretched games all day and all night and getting uglier by the days wasting past him like trash.
But how wrong he was. Evan adored the shorter male. The male had freckles dashingly cute across his nose and cheekbones which settled high on his face. His brunette fluffy hair was adorable and cute and kept Evan’s urge to pet through the strands present.
But Jonathan didn’t know, how was he to know?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then came the monthly anniversaries. The first month anniversary, Jonathan was invited to come and share cake. He was the cake cutter and the balloon boy, meant to bring cheer to the children around and everyone else per usual Dennis traditions.
However, he never hated his traditional job as much as he did now. A job he’s had since birth, Jonathan finally hated this job more than his love life. He declined the invitation but it did not worst the relationship he and Evan had.
Therefore, Evan invited him to the second month anniversary but yet again received the same response. No...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jonathan was close to losing all his charm. Luke did not badger around him as much as he used to. Luke bothered with the Fong family who was entangled with the Griffin family. The Patterson’s seemed to give up on the Dennis family after Marie moved in with Luke.
Jonathan felt his father’s annoyance towards him. He was a 23 year old man without a girlfriend, no love life in sight, no future settled. He was breaking the tradition that was set in stone hundreds of years ago.
He could tell his mother was beginning to feel lost towards Jonathan’s future. Would he even invest into his future though?
But he would.
He’s heard from the occasional visits from Luke that the Fong and Griffin family have historical issues. Ethnicity and Racial issues. One side was Italian while the other was Korean.
Evan and Celia would be split up before their three month anniversary. but that had not happened for there was the invitation with a note attached. “Meet me at the park” it read.
Jonathan did, wanting to know who the note was from. It was none other than Evan Fong, a heartbroken man with a desire to hold Jonathan’s hand. “Evan? What have you summoned me for?”
“Celia is gone, my friend. I have left the witch.”
“The witch?” Jonathan asked for confirmation, Evan’s hand taking his own.
“The witch has cheated on me. Jonathan Dennis, have you ever been in love before?”
Jonathan felt his heart hum in his chest as he stalled the minutes by, grasping Evan’s hand. “Yes... I have. It has hurt me.”
“I am sorry... Let me mend it...” Evan muttered, his gaze only dashing across Jonathan’s eyes for assurance.
Jonathan felt heat spread among his cheeks, “Fong... Are you... Are you asking me to take your hand?”
Evan smiled, “That is so.”
Jonathan felt tears brimming his eyes and swiftly launched his arms around his neck, “Yes!! Yes, I shall forever hold your hand with much grace!”
Evan grinned and hugged the lad back, pecking his cheek with pure joy. “Excellent, Dennis. Excellent.”
Jonathan let his tears fly, digging his face into Evan’s neck with great excitement, “I love you... So so much..”
“I shall never let you go then.” Evan smiled softly, wrapping his arms tight around Jonathan’s waist and carefully picking the shorter man up.
Jonathan instantly, as if instincts kicked in suddenly, wrapped his legs around Evan’s midsection and spread small pecks of appreciation across Evan’s cheeks.
The other smiled with soft chuckles, cheerfully making melodies in Jonathan’s ears. The two were combined at last.
Your Touch... {PreView}
Let me know if you would like the full thing. ;) just message me or something.
Jonathan was on fire, each burning sensation of flesh upon flesh was driving him crazy and left him breathless. He could hear his heart beating inside his lean chest, it was far louder than his panting.
Evan was no better, if anything he was in worst shape. His mind grew hazy and he could tell his eyes darkened with lust yet passion.
Red, White, And Blue Plaid
Jon wore the perfect colors for the first day of this new school he was moved to. As school dress code, he was forced to go and buy plaid shirts and flannels and checkered clothing due to the fashion police being high quality at the school.
As Jon was walking among the flannel section in his most favorite store, Cutesmart™(trademark reference), three students, probably from this new school, were shoving each other around into other customers and interrupting the public spaces.
“U-Um.. can you three be less noisy, please??” Jon questioned them, hoping they would be a little more quiet and polite towards his desires.
However, the trio only began taunting him and declaring they’d be much more louder unless he left. So he did what anyone else would do. He punched them in their guts and shoved them away from the store, completely.
They stood on the sidewalk across the store while Jon crossed his arms with a huff and glared at them. “Those boots are made for walking!”(reference) Jon shouted angrily at them before heading back to buy his favorite colored clothing, blue and white.
As he was shopping, he decided he would pull his ID and Credit Card from his wallet and settle it in his hand to easily swipe, buy cigarettes(don’t do cigs ;) ), and pay for it all quickly..
In a swift moment of reading his ID, a sudden hand jabbed at him in the chest with a question, “You go to Khan Jusi Academy?”(KHAN ACADEMY CAN SUCK MY LEFT NUT)
Jon felt no other response was appropriate besides a giggle and nod.The male’s face lit up and he grinned at Jon, “Me too! Hey, are you new here because I’ve never seen you around?”
Jon nodded, “My name is Jonathan but I prefer to be called Jon.”
“I’m Evan, hey, I love your laugh dude. It’s absolutely crazy!”
Jon smiled at his new enthusiastic friend, “So what’s your schedule?”
Evan smiled at him with a reply, “I have homeroom with Mr. Jenki the Fourth and lunch one.”
Jon glanced past Evan and grinned, racing past him and grabbing a striped black and white hemmed jacket with blue dyed leather and a white hoodie with a blue pair of teddy bear ears.
“Awesome, I have that lunch period too, I think. But hey, this jacket looks awesome, doesn’t it?!”
Evan smiled and nodded, “Yeah, hey, did you bring your schedule with you or no?”
Jon shook his head, “I can show you, just come back to my hotel or Ii can give you my phone number and we can just text it.”
Evan nodded, “Sounds fun. I’ll go grab some paper and a pen from the lady at the desk.”
Jon smiled and nodded in acknowledgement before trying on the jacket and grinning to himself, “thirty bucks, not back. I’ve got about 250 in my credit and 80 in cask. I should be just fine shopping here.”
As the male from earlier approached Jon, he strutted off and came back with a smirk, “Don’t I look fashionable as fuck?”
Evan smirked and nodded, “I like that. I should match your’s!”
He pushed past Jon and reached for a red jacket that was hemmed black and white as well but had a gradient pink-to-red hood with a white pair of feathers flowing from the back.
“Oh my gosh, Evan, it really fits you too! Red goes really well with your hair color and your eye color.” Jon practically fangirls.
The two skipped among the store clothes racks, grabbing similar clothes but sticking to their rightfully favorite colors.This was the beginning of a beautiful relationship.(pewdiepie reference anyone?)
Hah. Spot out the references? I would hope so.. XD
Ii felt really airheaded so Ii felt like writing soemthing humorous and also kinda cute, ya kno?
