wada sez: I’ve already remarked on Inferno and Grapple’s role in Megatron Origin; this strip instead shines a spotlight on Grapple’s wartime life, giving him his classic role as a builder rather than a firefighter. With Grapple as the only named character in the script, Ed Pirrie (who in recent years moonlighted on a cover for IDW) took the opportunity to draw a bunch of obscure faves here (anyone recognise that leg in the sixth panel?). Colours from the actual Megatron Origin colourist, Josh Perez! Clean inks below.
