Will: Now, a lot of people think you're French but you're not. Charles: No, I'm from, I'm from, I'm from Monaco, which is a different country. But, uh, yeah, I speak French. But, uh, yeah, I'm not French. Will: But, that said, its yourself, its Ocon, Gasly... you guys have all come up through the ranks together. How crazy is it that all three of you find yourselves here right now racing in the pinnacle of motorsport? Charles: Yeah, it's quite crazy actually. Uh, I remember we were, we did our first ever French championship altogether in 2005 and I was-- Will: 2005? You've made me feel old. Charles: I was 7.5 years at that time. And, uh, yeah, remember we were imagining ourselves in Formula 1 one day looking at the TV. And, and to be now, all three together in the paddock is, uh, it is quite crazy. Will: That's absolutely nuts. Do you guys go out for dinner and talk about it at all? Charles: No, not yet, but we should.

Charles does a drive-through of the track in Monaco for Alfa Romeo.

So it's always feels quite strange to race in the, in the streets I've grown up. [Starting lane.] Now we are on the start/finish straight. It's also where I was taking the bus every morning to go to school, and to drive it in a racing car and these different stories, which is actually quite funny. [Hairpin.] Tightest parts of the track, which is always difficult to manage. To go around this corner, because obviously you had to, uh, you have to really turn the steering wheel and quite a lot and you are not really used to that in, in Formulas. [Tunnel.] And we arrive in the, in the tunnel section, which is always pretty tricky because obviously with a very high speed and then when you go out with all the lights coming to your eyes, you take a little bit of time to adapt. [La Rascasse.] There's La Rascasse, quite good to, to party here, uh, on the Sunday night, obviously after the Grand Prix, after everything has done. See you in Monaco for the Grand Prix. Bye.
