pixel recolors dont deserve any credit. youre taking someone else's work and then putting a psd, which someone else likely made, over it. thats barely deserving of a like, let alone credit back to your blog..

ppl are too comfortable with editing and posting fanart without permission tbh... even if they allow reposting with credit, editing it is a whole different thing. also pinterest is NOT a source lmao. if you can take the time to do a full edit you can take the time to do a reverse image search

i think the people who make transparent character PNGs who also ask for credit for those same PNGs are just stupid I’m sorry but nobody’s crediting you for something that you can make transparent using remove.bg in a few seconds.

hey editiblr! can we stop insulting editors who use common typing quirks or edit in a popular colour scheme??? they're literally not hurting anyone, at all. nobody is actually being hurt by someone tagging something like "# — kyur goddesses arrival . . . " or frequently editing in unoriginal themepack colours such as pink and black and having "basic and simple" styles. if you claim it is, then directly point to the person who it is harming. ill wait. it might be "cringe" or "unnecessary" but that doesnt give you a free pass to judge the people who use that. if it's annoying to you that some people may use typing quirks that make their sentences incomprehensible, then atleast don't judge them..? how is someone only editing in a unoriginal or more popular style even annoying if the work is still good..? i want you to explain to me how someone editing in pink is "annoying.".

editblr nowadays has some type of attachment to laughing at people for how they express themselves and have fun and its scary how people try to make it look judging people for editing in a different style is better than editing in a different style.

I sometimes feel a little excluded in editblr because I don’t have this whole fancy persona thing going on. There’s (reference to an ask I saw here earlier) „kyurgoddessdolletelaces“ with their silly little community and meanwhile I don’t get any interactions, but as soon as I open reqs everyone goes „can I request 500 layouts of this character with no media“ 😇😇😇
