Auðr opinion time.
As an intersex person who fluctuates with my transfem identity, non transfem folk are more than welcome to make transfem flags. We have very little flags already compared to transmasc ones, and I adore seeing all the ones posted. If perisex ofab (Observed female at birth) folk try to say they are transfem, that is another story.
As a therian who identifies with one or two miscverse labels, miscverse is not NSFW. It was a term created by minors, and the predominant community is minors. Claiming terms that have been reclaimed from NSFW origins are in fact NSFW is wrong. Besides, kink at pride is one of the most common things in this community as pride was founded by kink and black transfems.
[Image ID: On the left side is a girl with long, light-brown hair glaring at the viewer. She's got purple eyes and is holding a shark plush in her right arm. Next to her is desaturated purple text reading, "Auðr or Żaneta. They/Them and Xe/Xem." // end ID. ]
Liuz Opinion: Not crediting artists for any reason is weird! Especially if you want to "gatekeep" them, they're a whole person and the likeliest case is that art is their livelihood. Not crediting artists is an asshole move. It's thievery.
ppl are too comfortable with editing and posting fanart without permission tbh... even if they allow reposting with credit, editing it is a whole different thing. also pinterest is NOT a source lmao. if you can take the time to do a full edit you can take the time to do a reverse image search

I fucking hate the white people in this community so damn much. They're so insensitive and insufferable
.
asking people to tag queer is strange to me tbh. if it bothers you so much nobody is forcing you to interact with accounts that use queer as a self descriptor. ngl nobody is forcing you to interact with accounts that use other slurs like the f slur and t slur as self descriptors, especially since they are used on the INDIVIDUAL. if you’re upset that they aren’t tagging them then the block button is right there ngl
.
just a personal thing but I think it's iffy when beings recoin someone else's terms with the excuse that they're a bad person. /not directed.
I apologize anon, but I have to disagree with this. A good example is the bigender flag. The original creator of it is a horrible person, so most people resort to using alternatives instead. I understand this is a personal thing, but you do have to look at the other hand.
i’m always really bewildered by people who reclaim slurs but point blank refuse to tag them or acknowledge that they’re a slur
like to be clear i like reclaiming slurs i think that’s cool and fine!
but you have to be able to acknowledge that because this is a slur, people are going to be uncomfortable with it, especially if they live in places where the slur is used as a slur. i see this a lot especially with the q slur (queer) and the bg slur (boygirl) and its so strange to me.
like again, you can reclaim slurs. but if someone nicely asks you to tag it (even just as the word itself) ….maybe do that?
Queer has been reclaimed by a majority of the community as an inclusive self-descriptor word for us. Boygirl ... isn't a slur. There's no results at all for it ever having been a slur. I don't know where you got the information that it was one to begin with.
