Judaizers

Judaizers – introduced their own false teaching of salvation. The following, which they introduced, is not Scriptural.

And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved. (Acts 15:1)

Judaizers emphasized to the Gentiles circumcision as a prerequisite for salvation. Salvation to them is not by faith alone. It is by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and obedience to the law (particularly circumcision). Their concocted salvation is intensified by circumcision. Their approach was based on escaping being persecuted for faithfulness to the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ and to make a good impression and a fine show in the flesh. —Concocted Gospel, Zolile Ntshona
