Maybe these are the most cliché pictures you can find around.. but for me seeing all these buildings and New York for the very first time was really amazing. 

We saw all the main attractions there (so touristic, I know!!) but still we enjoyed a lot. We’ve been very lucky with the weather and so here are some pictures on the ferry towards Liberty Island and honestly I thought the statue was bigger! And afterwards some other pictures from the Empire State Building and Top of the rocks. 

Some tips: if you are planning a lot ahead to go and visiting Liberty Island it might be a good idea book also the trip from the top of the Statue, in fact we didn’t know you have to book at least 3 months before the visit to access the top of the statue and so we got only to walk around it on the basement. 

Another thing you can do it’s also purchasing the New York pass, it’s not cheap but considering there are more than 130 attractions included and you can skip most of the queues it’s pretty amazing!! And don’t worry if you book it online only few days before, it takes really 24-48 hours to arrive to your place!
