You don’t normally bring a gift, unless you consider them a super close friend (most people in college don’t expect them honestly and people have told me not to get them). Alcohol is to be expected at most parties. Coordinate with someone if no car.

Fridays, 9:05 am- 12:05 pm. It counts towards studio art credit (it's a 4000 level class worth 3 credit hours) but not towards any focus areas.

I'm an art student and I have to do a project that you can help me on.
I have to do 4 self portraits about how OTHER PEOPLE view me.
To be honest I have no earthly idea how people view me so I could use your help. I have anon turned on and I'd really appreciate if people who know me would send me some feedback.
It could be a couple words that you associate with me, or a whole 10 page rant. It can be positive things or negative things or just plain quirky things. Really anything you think about me.

1. Favorite country that you’d want to invade or be the supreme ruler of:
The Principality of Wy, a micronation in Australia, because it's totally feasible that I'd be able to take over and deal with governing etc, and it's also an art community, which would just sorta be awesome.
2. What irritates you the most (this can refer to anything… bugs, irritating persons, or flying monkeys with a tendency to try to get you to buy household products that you really don’t need… like Shamwows, ect.) ?
That tiny clicking sound roaches make that's just soft enough you feel like you should be able to ignore it, but just loud enough that you can't get to sleep because there's a roach right there, gosh darn it!
3. What is the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen?
We went to White Sands National Park right before a thunderstorm broke. The sand is some sort of salt compound, so it's pure white against the massive purple clouds that fill the whole sky. Mountains divide the land from the sky all around you, and large drifts of sand threaten to consume the small paved road. The relentless wind throws the sand against your bare legs, and you run and run and run and feel like you're flying.
4. What do you want to BE in this life? If you answer “a balloon"… we need to have a talk.

I want to be a positive influence, and a creator.
5. What do you LOVE? What is your passion in life?
Art. Playing with children. Learning about the way subcultures work and discovering the sheer ingenuity of humanity via obscure fanfiction.
6. If you could shape shift into any animal what would it be? This can be real or imaginary. You can totally answer Manticore if you want. I will love you all the more if you do.

I would take the first.

My normal outlook on life is about 80% positive. I've been dealing with depression lately, so it's more like 40-60% positive, currently, but 80% is where I'd like it to be.
9. TOP FIVE FAVORITE ARTISTS? You can answer visual or musical artists. I prefer visual… but I’m a painter. I ain’t judgin’.

Yes, definitely. Belief is something internal. Religion is the organized structure you can use to act on your beliefs with other like-minded people.
