First Round: McGraw Tower vs. A.D. White Library

Our first battle brings together two favorites for most iconic photo in the Battle for Uris Library - McGraw Tower (#clocktower) seemingly graces everything at Cornell, all the way to Cornell Dining (food not produced in the library). However, the A.D. White Library (#whitelibrary) is the Cornell library system's representative, and what represents the university better than studying?

Cornell's Top Photo Op: Day 1

Ladies and Gentlemen, Cornellians of all ages – we’ve all taken pictures around campus. But where is the best place to snap a pic on campus? What's Cornell's top photo op?

Starting later today, battles will take place daily on our Facebook page with our fans voting on the winners until we have a champion. We'll also accept photo votes on Instagram, Tumblr or Twitter if you tag us (#cornellcas) and use the photo-specific tag, which will be mentioned in the description for each battle.

Last month, we went through photographs tagged #Cornell on Instagram, tallied up the most popular ones*, threw in a couple of our own to round out the field, and came up with 16 contenders for our followers, fans, and friends to vote on and determine the ultimate "Cornell" location.

Then we attempted to bring order to the brackets by setting up rivalries in the first round.

Now we need you to tell us what image you think best represents Cornell!
