“ death cannot stop true love. ”
a hiccup , a small sound , but one that so obviously gives her emotions away. it’s only a few seconds before riku starts crying , warm & wet tears rolling down her cheeks & landing on her shirt. it’s not fair , it’s not right that death wants to take haruka away from her , it’s not fair that she’s so young & she has to die. quiet tears turn into loud , almost childish sobs , her shoulders shaking as her hair falls in front of her eyes. she doesn’t want haruka to die , doesn’t want to deal with the aftermath & the grief & all the heartache , the loneliness. she doesn’t have many people , riku’s parents live in tokyo for work , so haruka’s parents see her more than they do. those nice people , to lose their only daughter so young , it’s definitely not fair.
‘ i-i…..i don’t w-want you to die !! i-i don’t w-want to l-lose you !! ’
i can’t lose you. i won’t watch someone i love die. if miracles are real, if they really can be granted, please. i’d give anything to save her, she’s the most important person to me.
& within her something stirs , almost the beginnings of magic begin to grow.
if i could have one wish, i want to heal her, to save her life, even it costs my own.
