This one's for my friend... Toralf, God of Fury, and the gameplan is just... burn with noncombat, esp against creatures! Thank you :D
So, how Toralf typically plays is either by having a damage multiplier, and then keeping on increasing the amount of Damage Toralf deals each step of the way, or to make sure there's a ton of creatures out before casting a blasphemous act or other damage sweeper.
If going for the latter or a hybrid of the two, having some cards to give creatures to opponents can be useful, to ensure having targets for Toralf's fury. There's some more commonly seen, but the one I'll single out is more of the fun option than the good option. With that said, unlike most other options, it does give creatures to every opponent immediately.
Life of the Party is a really fun card that throws a wrench in everyone's game plan. The goading makes them not so much a threat to you, the 1 toughness is perfect for Toralf, and the first strike, trample and 0 power on other people's turns means it's not a good proposition to just block each others' life of the party, they just can't be traded effectively.
With that said, they also go really well with the other options to give people creatures in red, since those will pump up the Life of the Party!
Then there's some newer damaging spells it's good to know about, though they might already be in your friends' list if they keep up with new stuff, or they might be too expensive to make the cut, in mana or in money. And there's only so many slots!
