i love seeing my friends go back to swtor in the year 2025. never change never improve
potentially not a very common opinion but i think it was a great mistake for tumblr to make reblog tags visible to the op especially and with no option to turn it off. yeah there are groups that want that (most notably any kind of creatives, which is why we had xkit for this back in the day), but this blended what used to be a very clear line between a comment (various ways to do that on tumblr so i mean the idea of it) and tags on a post, which was that tags were mostly a way to talk to one's followers or at least do journal-like commentary or something when reblogging a post. it's just something i think about often, especially when i notice how some attitudes have shifted on this website since those times, and i think it just had a detrimental effect
