Grace shouldn’t have been out this late, but the actress seemed to have created a bad habit of walking on the beach at odd times. The night should’ve startled her. . . instead it was eerily peaceful, without a single person in sight. There were a few cars that drove past, but none of which seemed to raise any concern.
The sand stuck to her skin, the moon shining against the ripples of water. Grace had been tempted to turn back, knowing the path would be endless. However, she caught the sight of someone -- a red haired girl -- and the starlet hesitated. It wasn’t normal to see people out at these hours, unless they also sought for the same type of serenity.
After all, she had met Maria on the beach, under the same circumstances ( so maybe this stranger wouldn’t be harmful ). The starlet stepped closer, wondering, “ . . . penny for your thoughts?”
“What’re you doing?”
