♕ There was a ball that evening in Scala, and it was big events like these Eraqus really didn't like. He mostly stayed off to the side unless he was asked to dance. If he could sometimes he’d even sneak out. Friends tended to make these events a lot more bearable and fun, so he'd always ask Xeha or Yen to accompany him if they could. He was super grateful Xeha could go with him tonight, and while he mostly stood with her for the evening he was dragged out for the occasional dance.
After the second suitor of the night bid farewell to Eraqus he returned to her side. “I honestly don’t get why people find these things so fun,” he said with a small pout.

“Xeha? You good?” Riku tossed her a towel, dragging the door shut. The Islands were prone to sudden rainstorms during this season but he didn’t think that they would be caught that quickly. “I’ll put some tea on. Earl Grey fine?”
The forest was alive with a symphony of insect life. Not that that was a surprise, though it did make it a little harder to relax into the peace of the afternoon. It also made it a little harder to hear nearby footsteps, hence why she walked head first into someone whilst she was stretching.
“Oof!” Tiny as she was, the impact knocked the Netherling down to the ground, causing her to peer up at whomever she’d made contact with.
