After the foreign royalty Torhasaar had come to stay at the Tal’Rena palace, it would swiftly become apparent that a few aspect of life were a bit out of the ordinary. The council table where he was first interviewed was the singular time he’d seen all of the king and queen’s offspring together at once, and it took naught but a few days to find almost all of them were set against each other for some reason or another.
Such a thing became clear as the King and Queen prepared themselves to join an envoy to meet a neighboring monarchy in the hopes of securing some information to try and see Torhasaar home more swiftly. The youngest of the siblings, Vaka, was quickly singled out by his elder brothers and sisters to stay and watch the castle. A deliberate move to keep him from interacting with any of the higher circles of society.
He seeming was being forced to bite a bullet just to babysit a foreign ambassador who would likely be gone and all influence erased in a few short months. His own siblings were working to handicap him.
But such matters were not at the forefront of Vaka’s mind. Instead he sought to take good care of his guest while he had sole control of the castle. For a time, it was nice to pretend and be King.
“Your Majesty.”
One of the human servants had been jogging around the castle, looking to find Torhasaar.
“Prince Vaka would like to see you as soon as possible, in the courtyard.”
