I'm seeing a LOT of discussion about deltarune chapter 4 ending.
Here's my take??? And how I view it with pass interactions??
Chapter 4 spoilers oopsies
I think a lot of people are getting upset with sans for being an ass, I didn't exactly get that vibe I just had that *oh he's being nonchalant and stupid on purpose* energy, the same in undertale before everyone realizes that he's a little more than just the lazy brother. Right? I could be wrong, and I've kind of seen how sans is being an asshole I get it.
But also consider; it's sans, how much do you think he takes seriously. This isn't me defending him dw he was kind of a dick at the end idk.
That being said, I've seen a huge wave of people arguing about Toriel. We have people upset with her, And people supporting her.
Both of those things are fine. But let's get one thing out of the way really quickly; Yes, Toriel is an adult, she's allowed to drink responsibly. With whoever she wants. No one said she couldn't. At least no one I've seen said it outright.
What we're saying is, she's, while being technically responsible while drinking, being irresponsible as a parent; Not calling your kid to make sure they're okay, to notify you will be home, wherever she was when she wasn't home she didn't make sure that Kris could get home safe.
"Oh but Donnie, she deserves to be happy! Sans makes her happy!" I didn't say he didn't! I didn't say she didn't need to be happy! In fact go queen!
But here's a little,,, little something I want people to read and keep in mind the implications I'm setting down.
I'd suggest you go and actually read the "blog" yourself (https://deltarune.com/the_n3w3st_g1rl_g1rl/) as it really puts good insight to Susie and Kris's relationship before the events in deltarune.
But I want you to imagine being the ONLY human in town, with no known human relatives nearby. Your family is in ruins, you only have your mom and brother, you have your dad but your mom hates him while he's like actively bothering her. When your brother left, the divorce was finalized. Your alone now, your only support being your mom.
Now imagine being told, as literally the only put of place person in town aside from being fucking WEIRD, that your mom would be happier without you. I mean, you're already getting bullied by everyone so.
After risking your life, unbeknownst of course to everyone, you come home to realize your mom didn't even once realize you were out so late, not checking up on you, wine drunk on her ass having fun and laughing a lot more than normal with a guy she met a week ago.
Like come on guys, do you get the picture?? Are you seeing what I'm putting down??????? Like I'm just mad on Kris' behalf and Kris IS upset!!!! Like does??? That make sense??????
