Oh good, just what we need. A tornado warning. Fucking four rotations surround our area.

Red sky in the morning sailors take warning ⚠️!

Actually it is to be a calm day today so probably doesn’t fit.

But when you live in tornado ally you always look to the skies. ALWAYS !!

today at work we watched the sky turn from blue to black to green and heard the tornado siren go off but none of us cared and after we got all our customers to the back room we just continued to stock shelves until it all cleared 20 min later.

High Winds

  Not tired so I decided to stay up a while tonight

Not for any particular special reason, just decided too

About one A.M. I start to hear the high winds roll

Down the Pass straight to our home they blow

The house creaks and cracks to say it’s hello

  Wife sound a sleep at the backend of the house

Winds always bother her, she has lived in tornado ally

Ms. sleepy got tired so I ushered her to bed…

Its days like today that I thank God that I live right at the edge or a little outside of Tornado Ally. I get enough anxiety from getting tornado watches that last all day, so seeing one in person would probably send me into a uncontrollable anxiety attack. 

We’ve only had two or three actual warnings here, but the funnel either touched the ground as it was exiting the city limits or hit another town altogether. I’m fine with only seeing them in dreams/nightmares and videos/pictures. I won’t get any thrills from seeing one in real life.

See, what I like about living in Maryland is that there are roughly two tornadoes in this state a year, and practically none where I live, so...

Well, actually, that alone is good enough reason to like living here, but there’s more...

So I can watch videos of tornadoes on YouTube now without getting anxious over the possibility of one happening nearby tomorrow.
