As we find ourselves fully submerged into the heat of August, parents and children all across Torncreek, USA have one thing on their mind;

The start of the bloody school year.

For some, the day is coming far too soon. And for others, it cannot come quick enough. When is that first day coming ? We reached out to the.....unfortunately dwindling schoolboard for word on it, and the only response was "with all due respect, there's a wild animal on loose in town and two people have died from it. Nobody is thinking about the school year. Let's get it contained before it kills someone else before we discuss that."

Right, the animal. We ought to bring that up. As has been wide reported, a large, black-furred animal resembling closest a dog (though to mistake it as a dog would be an amazing feat for the tiniest of peabrains,) has taken the life of cousins-in-crime Amos and Diego Castillo, as is reported by witness of the scene, Patches "Pat" Pembrooke, and Amos' fiance, Francisco Artale. No neighbors were able to comment on the situation.

The town's social site has been brought back online after that stint of it being closed to the public, something about the archives getting deleted on accident and the handful of folks in charge of it scrambling to fix it before more was lost to the void of the internet.

Finally, to whoever parked their white sedan in front of the god forsaken town hall this morning, you left your lights on. A less-than-jovial gentleman with a mullet teased to Jesus and an arm covered in tattoos solved that for you, though. Hangovers, am I right?
