The Tornin Group
Tornin-
Talent, kindness, and all around character. Tornin’s are all the people who have those three things. To describe a Tornin is to describe a famous celebrity. Poise. Classy, yet trashy. Talent is key when all else fails. They strive on what they can achieve and the goals they make. They’ll go to any ends to get what needs to be done. If they have even one particular strength in anything, they’ll brag and try to show everyone about it. Some say they’re all vain, but all they want is love. Every Tornin has been blessed with their own special talent, thanks to their Mama Founder, as they call her. If you were to ever need advice or help, a Tornin is who you should see. They could make a smile appear on anyone’s face.
About the founder, Sophia Tornin;
No one ever gave Sophia a chance to be what she deserved. They based her off her beauty, which was infinite, but never on her character. She was the shy, careful girl who stood in the shadows. But all that changed when she moved to Willinsville. She knew it was her time to shine. She had basically everything you could ask for, when she opened up and let people see it. Singing, playing an instrument, dancing, drawing, acting, and anything else you could think of. She was truly gifted.
Sophia had other problems though. The major one was Jackson Lamerson. She had thought him attractive since the moment she laid eyes on him. But no. You couldn’t fall in love with another founder. It was like a rule set in stone. But nothing could stop her when she had set her mind on something. She became fairly close to Jackson, their friendship growing closer each day as time passed on. They were caught sneaking out on late nights, watching the stars under the black sky.
Their relationship was kept a secret from everyone for years. Later, on a day where the clouds were just perfect paintings in the sky, the birds singing softly in the background, Jackson proposed to Sophia. She eagerly accepted and five months later they were married. Much to their surprise, their relationship was accepted and everyone had always known, all keeping their eyes on the two beforehand.
But then problems arose. They all then learned why two founders could never come together to form one. Once the second generation had been birthed, what was it? Was the child a born Lamerson or a born Tornin?
Everyone had said their love was infinite, completely unbreakable. They let them stay together, but they could only have a few children together, for it was too confusing if all were birthed from both parents. They had agreed reluctantly and the marriage thrived, as well as the business the two had combined.
Sophia died after a fluffing life in the arms of her husband at the age of 74. But when she left, a part of her spirit was held behind. Every talent that had been gifted for her was now shared among every descendant of Tornin.
“For any Tornin; When all else fails, use the gift you have been given. It is a birthright and is to be used with respect, care, and honor.” –Sophia Tornin
