 ⋨☀⋩          His wings are molting too early. They're getting very cold in the winter freeze... Thank goodness for those wing covers Nicolette made him for Christmas a while ago. Hopefully, that will be enough to keep him from getting too cold.

Battle Theme: Scorched Feathers — Kid Icarus OST

(Regular Verse / Fallen Angel Verse / Pre-Friendship Epic Mafia Verse)

Battle intro: “C’mon, Nicolette! Let’s spar!” / “I will…fight to be free. I won’t let you do this to me anymore.” / “Stay away from me! Don’t come any closer.”

Victory: “Aw, yeah! Goddess Palutena, victory is ours!” / “Am I…free?” / “Please don’t kill me.”

Defeat: “Ow, ow…! Man, that smarts!” / “So it’s true. I really am weak…” / “Go away! Leave me alone!”

Assist: “Thought you could use some help!” / “I will protect the one who saved me at all costs.” / “Consider this life insurance so you don’t kill me in the future.”

The Three Inconsistencies of Kid Icarus

 These are only questions I have about Kid Icarus that I just...can't seem to find the answers to.

 Pit Can't Fly

 There are three opportunities throughout the game in which Pit should regain his flight.

 If Palutena can revive Pit, than why can't she restore his wings? Revival is the ability to restore, therefore she should be able to restore his wings to a time when they weren't broken.

 Why didn't they keep Pit in the Reversal Spring until his wings were brought back to a time before they were injured. Sure, they might be smaller, but they'll grow and still be able to fly after a time.

 Why not ask Dyntos to remake the Pegasus Wings for Pit so he can fly on his own?

 Why did they never take advantage of any of these opportunities?

 Pit Can't Breathe

 Pit can't breathe underwater, but he can breathe in outer space. If he doesn't need oxygen, then why did they have Poseidon split the sea for him? Also, Palutena should have the power to help Pit underwater. She's a Goddess, for Pete's sake.

 Palutena Can't Protect from Burning

 Palutena has the ability to protect Pit from burning in the Volcano but can't protect Pit from burning status effects, nor his wings from burning from the overuse of the Miracle of Flight, nor protect Pit from burning his wings in Myths and Monsters.
