These beautiful Sakura's reminds me of Japan and Japan reminds me of beautiful things in my life. Like the time my father used to take us to 'a' specific Japanese restaurant (where you had to sit on the floor and experience the authentic Japanese food experience) after every single concert we participated in high school to Celebrate in Colombo. It reminds me of watching Osheen and reading 'Memoirs of a Geisha'. It reminds me of the 500 pages summer project I did on Japan in grade 10; 500 pages written painfully by hand. Perhaps next year or couple of years down the road when I see Sakura, it will remind me of Toronto. This city that turned me into someone new. This city that saw me live. It will remind me of Robarts, it will remind me of UofT, it will remind me of me in a different age. #TorontoDays #BeautifulSakura #TurningTime (at Robarts Library)
