Sam stood in the doorway of their motel room with a huge grin. Earlier that night he hasn’t been able to accept the fact that Dean seemed to be giving up and accepting that he was going to hell. He was going to find another way, he had to but he couldn’t spend another second thinking about the countdown to hell or Dean for that matter. He had to get out and get rid of his frustrations. He was going to hit a local bar and no doubt some jackass would start on the way he looked, he was counting on it. He needed to take out his frustrations and get some control back. He wouldn’t do that to Dean and no one else was around so why not go find some jerkwad who felt he had to force his opinions on others? So that’s what he did. He went out and not even two beers in he was started on and he got the fight he was looking for. The other guy and his friends managed a few punches in but Sam got a few more and that was enough for them to decide to part ways shouting insults instead. And since Sam got what he wanted he headed back to the motel. So that was how Sam ended up stood in their motel room doorway grinning with a split lip, some swelling on his face and a new rip in his Punk’s not dead just sleeping drunk leather jacket.

When she arrives at the bar, all eyes are on her. As usual. It's not that she minds, not when Stan is towering over her and shooting his glances at vampires and humans alike. Godric doesn't need that, she's very well capable of taking care of herself, but most humans don't know that.

This is a nice place, where the vampires and humans of Dallas come to meet, come to drink and exchange stories. Not at all like Fangtasia, much more classy, much less vampire theme park. Which is why Godric likes it and why she keeps coming here.

The barkeeper shoots her a smile and hands her a glass of red liquid. If TruBlood or not - the humans wouldn't notice. And Godric was too old to find the synthetic stuff even the least bit appealing.

Stan goes and mingles with the people now, so does Isabel. Godric is left sitting at the bar, looking next to her to find a very handsome man sitting there. Oh, and he smelled good. Like adventure, gunpowder and whiskey. "You look lonely", she said, flashing the strange a soft smile. "Though it is a mystery as to why you would be. Such a handsome man and no one to admire you."
