I'm just so uncomfortable with all of this, I always have been. You can't even just say it's racist cops, it's whoever trains the cops. They're conditioned to ignore things like "You're hurting me" or "I can't breathe." You turn on Cops, and you'll se it hands down every episode someone goes "Sir, you're hurting me! Sir I can't do what you're asking me to do because you're on top of me!" Yet the cop keeps his knee in some girl half his size's back and rolls his eyes. Because the assumption is that it's bullshit, It's a ploy to run away, to avoid arrest, to try to attack the officer, WHATEVER THEY THINK. At some point they were taught these things, that probably do hurt, and in this case, fucking kill, and someone's telling them that it doesn't hurt, that it's not dangerous, and anyone who complains is just a slimy criminal not to be trusted.
