REVIEW- Matrix Total Results Heat Resist Collection

Oh, wow. Where to begin.

Full disclosure: I am not a Matrix fan. I've used a couple of products worth the money, but mostly it's just mediocre crap. Total Results is, like, the K-Mart of professional hair care. Nothing wrong with it, but there's better stuff to be had.

Let's get down to it, shall we?

Shampoo: Okay, so. There isn't anything inherently wrong with the shampoo, it didn't over-dry my hair or anything, but it's not like I would reach for it over anything else. 5/10

Conditioner: You know a conditioner sucks when you immediately rinse it out and leave the shower to find another. This stuff is watery and terrible. Definitely skip. 2/10

Iron Tamer: I have a feeling I'll like this a lot more when my hair is longer (AKA not a pixie cut) but it's decent. I'll hang onto it for future use. 6/10

Blowout Tamer: Again, I'm sure I'll like this more when my hair is longer, but I actually like this one. It gave my hair nice body and light hold without the unpleasant stickiness that usually comes along with gels, but it was light enough that that wasn't a problem. 7/10

OVERALL SCORE: 5/10

So, not great. The stylers are alright but I would definitely recommend into looking into other haircare; you can find better quality in drugstores. If you're going to buy professional, buy something worthwhile.
