Maya loves to color and draw. She drew us (her family). She’s the red figure, I’m the pink, Isaiah is the orange and her dad is blue. The best thing about this is that she didn’t ask me how to spell my name or Isaiah’s name and with the exception of the S being backwards and Isaiah’s name missing an I, she spelled the names by memory. Some adults can’t spell mine or Isaiah’s name. #shessosmart #totallybragging

I'm not bragging (I'm totally bragging) but, the Dude 2.0 has gained 12 ounces since leaving the hospital Friday night. She's now above her birth weight and our delighted pediatrician told us she was an exception especially for a breastfed baby, as most newborns are still either losing or haven't yet begun to gain weight. He also encouraged me to eat whatever I wanted including indulging in chocolate and whiskey. The Dude was also a massive weight gainer in his first weekend home, apparently they like to do megagrowing immediately AFTER birth. A-okay. Anyway, nice words I needed to hear today.
