Denial The numbing feeling of denial can make a person go completely insane, even if that person was Berwald. He wasn't usually one for showing anyone a different side of him, and especially if they had once tried to impose themselves as a tomato fairy. Ridiculous, the very thought of it, Berwald chuckled in his mind. But it was very much serious and not something he'd experienced that often, which was probably why he was in so much denial about it. Tino was his one and only, always, no matter how many times his Finnish pal would deny it. Someday, the Swede would mutter internally, someday Tino will return my feelings. However it never occurred to him that...someone else might capture his feelings too. It first occurred at the World Conference a few months ago. It was there that Berwald started to realize an awful grievance had fallen upon him, and it's name was Italy. ------ I could do so much better...but I guess this is a good start?
