"Mr. Stark." Phil said by way of greeting, looking at Tony through the glass, eyes hazy. "This may seem insensitive but I always thought it’d be the other way around. Me visiting you."
He rubbed a hand over his face. “You know. They said this is for my own safety. And the safety of others. Turns out not everyone comes back without some damage to the wetware.”
He was silent for a long moment.
"Do me a favor, alright? .. Try to remember me like I was before the war. Not .. this. Not what’s left after everything is broken."
Tony gave a shrug. "Nothing fit. Jarvis is doing my laundry. Should be done in an hour. This place is so dull, what do you do for fun around here?" He asked, glancing around the males room.
"You didn't even check." Phil made a face, because he's certain he has exercise clothes that would fit Tony just fine among other things. "And don't diss my loft, you're the one who broke in."
I was bored. Made myself a drink but ended up knocking it over my suit. My clothes are in your wash. So I figured I would relax in here for a bit.
".. So it occurred to you to borrow my appliances but not my clothes." Phil deadpanned.
✵
Phil had seen the spider parked in his garage, somehow, so he'd had some warning at least that Tony was present. He'd fully expected to find Tony making himself comfortable.
This was not what he had expected when he'd thought that though.
"Is this an invitation of some kind?" He finally said, moving and sitting on the edge of the bed. "Because we haven't exactly had this kind of history Mr. Stark."
ppssst. Im reading the Hawkeye comics by Matt right now. Finally got 1-9 so i figured I should start. Loving it so far. Side note, first comic I have ever read.
ooc: I don’t actually have all of them. I’m thinking about picking them up on comixology though. And apparently I fail at answering things privately now.
