“Tag!”

Adia stated quickly before jumping away and sprinting away from Toulouse. Why? No one really knew but there had been a certain happiness around her lately and it definitely meant she was more playful than normal. So their day out of doing nothing special turned out to be a day of games and food and laughter. And figuring the best way to end it was Adia deciding on tag. Laughing as she ran she turned corners as quickly as she could knowing this place like the back of her hand at this rate. It was only until Toulouse taunted her and she was laughing so hard she took a wrong turn into a dead end. There wasn’t enough time for her to flip around and get out but just enough that as she slowed down she could feel Toulouse’s hands on her waist pushing her forward until she was trapped against the wall and unable to escape.

“Tag.” He whispered moving to kiss her lips quickly before smirking and bolting off himself.

Toulouse could only smile at the girl he loved as she flopped onto his bed, curling up into him. He could tell there was something wrong and she was upset but just for a moment he wanted to hold her. Love her. His finger ran through her blonde locks until his curiosity got the best of him. “What’s wrong,mon étoile?” He asked in a hushed tone. “You’re upset or scared. I know it.”

Adia wanted to smile when he wrapped her up in his arms. She felt safe and secure, she felt loved but her mind was still going a mile a minute. When he finally spoke she shrugged. “I don’t know how to explain it. Or even start it.” She murmured softly.
