Rogue Review “Tea Liturgy”
A quartet of tea-loving creatives have brought a soothing, inspiration-inducing show to the Rogue Festival this year. Tea Liturgy, perhaps one of the best, most-appropriately named shows, is exactly as its title depicts: “A communal response to and participation in the creative through activities reflecting song, spoken word, music, and beverages brewed from camellia sinensis”-definition provided by the Tea Liturgy cast. Heather Parish, Rachel Witort, Charis Calvert, and Victor DeRoches bring their various instruments of artistic expression to Fulton St. Art in the form of a homily, guitar, marimba, harmonica, ukulele, and vocals to provide audiences with a lovely, collaboratively inventive hour of art in various forms.
