There was something particular about the slow-moving water, the gentle breeze of the shallow stream, that spoke of something deeper, rivers of meaning left settling underneath. A universal current, consistently swimming forward, life teeming in the soft muddy water. I questioned how far it would stretch it's gentle arm –a flowing embrace– till at last either rage wider and wider: the transfiguration of lakes and oceans; or settle slower, narrowing patiently into a creek, to somberly still, passing peacefully into the soil.
