I think a little context would help, right? For those who joined me in last year’s Chanstober, you’re already in the loop, but for newcomers, it might feel a bit unfamiliar.

Basically, I shared this headcanon about Toxictale on Day 4 of Chanstober (here) and continued it on Day 10 (here). But to sum it up, it’s just my take on Toxictale!

In this version, Chara "saves" the monsters of the Underground by stealing substances created by humans. Since they wear a hazmat suit, none of the monsters realize they’re actually human—until Frisk uncovers the truth. There’s a bit of betrayal, some romance, and of course, plenty of angst—just the way I like it XD.

Creo que un poco de contexto ayudaría, ¿verdad? Para quienes me acompañaron en el Chanstober del año pasado, ya están al tanto, pero para los nuevos, puede resultar un poco desconocido.

Básicamente, compartí este headcanon sobre Toxictale en el día 4 de Chanstober (aquí) y lo continué en el día 10 (acá). Pero, en resumen, ¡es solo mi forma de interpretar Toxictale! Esta en ingles, pues, comencé mi Tumblr escribiendo en ingles, y ahí se quedo :P Creo que es facil de entender porque bueno, como diria HelldogMadness "my nombre is Helldog, cual es tu my name?" asi que mi nivel no es demasido bueno JAJAJJAJAJAJA

En esta versión, Chara "salva" a los monstruos del Underground robando sustancias creadas por los humanos. Como lleva un traje EPI, ninguno de los monstruos se da cuenta de que en realidad es humano... hasta que Frisk descubre la verdad. Un poco de traición, algo de romance y, por supuesto, mucho angst, ¡justo como me gusta XD!

DAY 4 (CHANSTOBER 2024) . MASK AU: Toxictale CW: Experimentation, Chemical Weapons, Blood

Oh! Toxictale! My dear toxictale! So underrated! But I love you, no matter how hard it is to think and draw about you!

Jokes aside, here we are! I’m so excited to finally share this little headcanon of mine! I know it might not be everyone's favorite—some might even find the appearance a bit off—but I’ve always felt it had a lot of sense.

Just to give a bit of context, I came up with this story about four or five years ago. Some of the long-time fans might remember a few old drawings, but it’s been tough to fully express it in words or art xDDD The first skeleton is Gaster, and the second is Sans.

It’s still a work in progress, but if inspiration and time allow, the second part should be ready by the 10th.

Anyway, like I said, here’s the climax of my headcanon, when the monsters find out that Chara is actually human and not a monster. I love betrayal stories, so of course I had to make one like that :)

What’s the ending? Who knows! My past self didn’t know, and at this rate, my future self probably won’t either!
