i've never been able to actually play this plot all the way out, and i dont know, i am just needing it for the squealing dramatics its going to give me LMAO. im not greedy though! i play female & male characters, so whoever gives me this plot, i can fulfill YOUR dream plot too, we can even weave them together for worldbuilding - A FAVOR FOR A FAVOR IF YOU WILL!
keep in mind that below is just a skeleton of the plot i want. all names, faces & whatever else are all tweakable and nothing's really set in stone! it's just like a little blueprint of the direction i want it to go- if that makes sense! sorry if it gets a little wordy, but bear with me, i got a vision of soap opera drama. >>>
after months of begging, medusa will finally agree to a pr relationship because it's a certain brand deal she wants and she's in competition with others to land it. she knows she has to get people talking if she's going to stay on their minds for the gig- so she's set up with an a-lister named caine. he can be a rapper or an actor, but basically, he's had a very spotty past. fast women, fast cars, and police charges typeshit. her reputation grows and she cleans up his image. win win, right? wrong. as good as medusa can fake it for the camera, he really grinds her gears because she's a little uptight and he does too much. they live together in a three bedroom penthouse (in separate rooms) and he's a messy and arrogant person who definitely comes from an entirely different world than she does. the attraction is obviously there, they just clash and get under each others skin.
of course he'll slip into old habits because he's getting nothing from her and the tabloids will catch it. this sparks a huge argument which eventually becomes the catalyst to them blurring the lines between it feeling real and fake.
used to self sabotaging, caine will eventually mess up again and that's when she'll be done and force her team to find a way out of the contract. she pretty much will cut contact and he'll act like he doesn't care because its easier- until he sees she's gotten together with the cousin he introduced her to. while they both came from the same background, caine's cousin kingston used the skills he learned from their environment. manipulative and brilliant, his charming charisma got investors to invest millions into just an idea- literally. a project that wasnt even started, he got funded millions for. he's started a tech empire, paid his investors back, and now its for sale, eagerly ready to get paid and look for the next big thing he wants to conquer in life. with a future full of possibilities, when medusa and caine 'break up', kingston has found something to conquer now. he's always felt like she was more up his alley and the smooth talker swooped in and showed her why he's different from his cousin. it doesnt take long for them to be an item. he makes her feel like everything is perfect, but she still cant help feeling her mind wander elsewhere.
as much as caine fakes the funk, seeing them out together pisses him off more and more every time he see's it mentioned. he finally starts to confront the fact that maybe his feelings were deeper than he wanted to believe, and he's on a mission to win her back. after a couple of failed attempts, he finally catches the couple at a party. idk what all is gonna happen at the party, but his cousin proposes and she says yes. he's stewing in anger and eventually pulls her to the side. medusa tries to storm off cause she dont wanna hear all of that, and she runs to the elevator so he forces his way in before the doors close. YOU KNOW, ALL ANGSTY AND SHIT. passion happens, and he think he got her in the bag until she goes back to ignoring him because she's decided she's going with the safe choice.
