People, please be sympathetic! I tired of being called a “privileged butthurt tone-policing thin-skinned oppressor crybaby” - simply because I want people to be nice!

Okay, let me clarify my position better! I myself have been very immersed in the SJ community, and trying to excuse some o the elements that never sat well with me. Like, yes, white privilege is a thing - as is male privilege. However, that doesn’t mean it’s justifiable to hate on or hurl abuse at people simply because they are white and/or male.

Essentially, I got excommunicated from the SJ community when I acknowledged that I was more on-board with “down with hate” instead of “down with cis”.

Simply put, it bothers me that too many SJ activists are not categorically against being mean to other people - and neither are anti-SJWs or the alt-right! It just bothers me that I can’t seem to find a major group that is categorically opposed to being mean to other people! So that’s that!

Okay, I Think I Understand!

Thanks to some of the various chats I’ve had, today - I’ve come to understand now why the middle ground voice isn’t really as vocalized as I would like.

It *does* take a lot of courage to openly express criticism about the more vitriolic faction of the SJ community here, as I had found out for myself a bit over a year ago (just search for “luvsavengedsevenfold”, my old username, and “call out” - and you can see what I’m talking about). If you dare to express criticism about the SJ community, it *does* get you branded an “anti-SJW” or an “oppressor” - so I can definitely understand why plenty would rather stay silent on the issue.

Likewise, daring to express certain progressive views on here gets you branded an “SJW” - regardless of what other “SJWs” might think about you and your views. So, yeah, I guess I’ve taken on a very big task here.

So I apologize for lashing out at people. It would be nice, though, if a handful of others could help lift the load off the shoulders a bit - so to speak.

So that’s that.

Okay, I think I see what the problem here is...

There really does need to be a kinder, gentler social justice - for those of who have had to endure emotional abuse, and have issues with self-esteem.

I will contend that, for some people, the more angry brand of social justice is maybe what works for them. However, they should stop laying the guilt trip on those of us who dare to express a desire for a kinder, gentler social justice.

It also really doesn’t help matters when “anti-SJWs” express valid complaints about the toxic, abusive atmosphere that permeates a good portion of social justice - because then I feel guilty for inwardly agreeing wish them, because... “What if people think I’m as bad as they are, simply because I agree with some of their complaints?”

It’s also a source of frustration how “anti-SJWs” will feign concerned for those who are emotionally harmed by the “SJWs” - yet, they themselves have no qualms about emotionally harming others. Like, emotionally harming others is wrong only when it’s “SJWs” doing it.

Now, people, please! I really need your support. I really need to know that I’m not alone in feeling this way. I need to feel like I’m not just talking to a brick wall here.

1) It’s racist for Disney to adapt fairytales from non-European cultures, because that’s cultural appropriation.
