So I work in a very male dominated warehouse, with a lot of them being older blokes. And as guys usually like to do, I get called 'sweetie' 'darling' 'honey' all that stuff since I started.
And since I started, whenever I get called these things I reply with a more levelled up version, 'honey-bun' 'sweetie-pie' 'cutie-pie' just whatever pops into my head.
One guy who I've never seen before yet was sooooo painfully cocky is working near me and totally cuts me off which I call him out on and he goes 'oh I'm so sorry, sweetie' to which I reply with 'no worries, baby cakes'
And let me tell you, I've never seen a guy look so unbelievably distraught! It was the funniest thing! I could not believe it, he was so appalled by me calling him that, that for the next 10 min he was just raging like a 2 y.o and I loved every second of it.
Even the other blokes who know it's what I do when they say shit were laughing about it for the rest of the shift.
