The toxics and the haters, they can’t find anything concrete on Taylor, so they have to either make stuff up wholesale or take something that is innocent and/or positive and twist it into meaning something negative.

It’s what they do, they’ve done it to others (including Tom!) and it’s called propaganda 101.

“What is Propaganda?

Propaganda is a form of argument meant to further a special-interest cause through manipulation.  Propaganda is based on false claims and highly emotional appeals.  Propaganda tries to exaggerate an issue by making it seem better or worse than it actually is.  Propaganda often introduces inappropriate appeals to needs and emotions, for example, selling drugs by appealing to a teenager's need to feel accepted.  Propaganda strives to thwart logical, analytical discussion, rather than to promote reasoned choice.  It makes one viewpoint seem the only reasonable point of view.

Relying on emotion instead of logical evidence

Introducing irrelevant or unproven evidence

Attacking a person instead of a principle

Suppressing evidence

Oversimplifying and distorting

This is why so many of the claims against Taylor involve racism, because racism is a highly emotionally charged subject.  It’s an easy button to hit, and makes people stop thinking and go to just responding.
