MAXIMUS: It was January, which meant it was time to put together the annual reports.
It was tough to find time for something like this, especially since it required him and Tom to sit together and go over everything the Station had done for the last year. It was the kind of task that was easy to let slip to the bottom of the priority list in the round of new cases, patrols, and new hiring that was happening. But Shera had blocked off the time in their calendars, taken their phones, and all but locked them in Tom’s office to get it done on time.
It was the kind of terrifying efficiency he could appreciate when he wasn’t the target of it. At the moment he was mildly annoyed.
Sitting on the opposite side of the desk, Maximus flipped open another report and marked down the tally on the sheet in front of him. “Another pick pocket incident.”
