All Those Bear Moments :-)
(аnd let us not forget Horace, the lost teddy bear from one of his Guinness ads)
I visited The Bear Shop in Elm Hill again (Norwich, UK). This time I met the owner. He said Elm Hill is about to be used for another movie set, this time by Netflix. The historic road will be filled with snow and the bear shop will turn into an apothecary. The owners of the shops seem quite excited, but I wonder how the bears feel about being temporally removed? 😖
You can see my earlier post about Elm Hill here.

I swear those bears were whispering “save me... let me out of here!!” Such a lovely traditional bear shop.
You might think this looks a little like a cobbled street in France, or Stratford-Upon-Avon, but it’s actually a street in the city where I live, Elm Hill, Norwich.
Although there are a lot of ancient buildings in Norwich, most of the city doesn’t look anything like this. This street still remains today as it was many years ago.
The white walled thatched building in this last picture is the oldest thatched building in England, and has been a coffee house and restaurant since 1975. Take a tour of the entire street with this excellent video, plus a short interview with the two ladies who run the coffee house.
There’s a lot of very interesting quirky shops in this road, including a vintage bookstore packed with really old books. I’ll be posting pictures of the book shop soon.
See my previous post about Elm Hill.

President Teddy Roosevelt refused to shoot the bear, claiming that it was bad sportsmanship.
Two weeks later, a Brooklyn candy shop owner placed a toy bear in his store window in honor of…
