Day 13 — Aoyagi Harumichi

Harumichi Aoyagi is a stoic and stubborn character. Although it takes time, he is capable of building understanding and tolerance for what goes against his principles. He a part of the side cast for Vivid BAD SQUAD and debuts in the Main Story. He is the father of Toya Aoyagi.

He is a famed professional classical musician. In the game files, he is listed as ‘touyafather’.

He appears in the Main Story, Nocturne Interlude, and The First Concerto. Although not having a feature in Time to Take Off, its event story is noted to revolve around him.

My thoughts? I am honestly not the biggest fan of Harumichi. I did find him compelling before Toya’s fifth but I did not appreciate the direction they went in with him during that one. I just don’t think the backing of ‘I heard people speak about how their music was superior to all, and I’m going to live by that, as a person and a parent’ a suitable one for a character like this. Overall, mixed feelings.
